VINYL AND VINTAGE RE-OPEN 16 TH JUNE 2020

We hope you are all doing well in these difficult times, but we hope the worst is behind us now as we look forward to opening our shop on the 16 th June at 10 am. There will be a few changes. The door will operate on a buzzer system and you will be let in by us. You may be asked to wait in an area just outside the shop as there will be a limited number of people allowed in the shop at any one time. There will be hand sanitizer on the wall that must be used on entrance to the shop. The counter will have a screen around it and you will not be allowed to enter the office area. We suggest initially that a mask is worn in the shop and perhaps gloves. Social distancing will be required at all times.
 
We of course are looking forward to seeing you all. New stock has been ordered and we have the new Lady GaGa exclusive colour and clear vinyl lps available . The New Rolling Stones colour exclusive and the David Bowie releases will also be in store along with lots of new used stock – 1,000s of 12 inches and cd singles in the bargain bins and tons more interesting stock.
 
During this time for those who don`t wish to come into the store we will still offer a click and collect service at the back of the store for orders via discogs or by phone.
 
Record cleaning machines are available for purchase by delivery by post or collection.

VINYL AND VINTAGE CLICK AND COLLECT SERVICE TO START MONDAY!

VINYL & VINTAGE CLICK AND COLLECT!
Vinyl and Vintage are starting a click and collect service ONLY Monday 11 th between 11 am and 2pm AND Saturday 16 th 11 am to 2 pm. You can call to reserve items to pick up and collect from outside the store. You will not be allowed to enter the store. If you have reserved items already you MUST Call for a time slot to collect 07760168972. We will give you details on how to pay and where to go if you are coming via car or on foot.

Sorry not all our stock is on there but there may be something you`d like over 3,500 items listed. This is a trial so we will see what happens. And Jamie who reserved some items just prior to lockdown please get in touch 😉

VINYL & VINTAGE PHYSICAL SHOP TEMPORARY CLOSURE

VINYL  and  VINTAGE regret that we are temporarily closing our doors due to the outbreak of Covid 19. We feel that it is the responsible thing to do to protect you, us and loved ones.

We will at this time still be offering an online service and you can find some of our listings by visiting our web page www.vinylandvintage.net and click the `discogs` link. ( itsforyoumusic )

Customers who wish to order via our discogs page should email or text me the order with a possible curb side collection at allocated times and days of the week. We will of course also post in the event you are unable to collect. We will be using Royal Mail only whilst they still operate. ( £4 upto 2kg )  The number to use for orders / enquiries is  07760168972

Those of you that have items reserved they will be held for you. If you wish to purchase sooner you can call or text me and we can arrange a curb side collection. This is likely to be on a Tuesday and Saturday. Telephone / Text 07760 168 972.

We will regularly be at the shop organising and pricing and getting stock ready for when we re-open. We shall also be listing new items on our discogs page. We will not open the door to you if you see us inside ! Please call us for information.

RSD 18TH APRIL 2020 POSTPONED

As some of you may have heard – this is the email we received from the organiser ERA
“We are sad to announce that following a decision made by the organisers of Record Store Day, the event will be postponed to June 20th

This decision comes at a time of unprecedented uncertainty and the health and safety of the general public must come first

This was absolutely not an easy decision to make as hundreds of independent shops and labels have been working hard towards this year’s celebrations

We’re working with all of our partners and our stores to make this change as smooth as possible for everyone: customers, record stores, artists, labels and more. Record Store Day is everywhere and we want to hold our party when everyone can gather around safely to celebrate life, art, music and the culture of the indie record store.

Given the challenges now facing the independent record store community we urge music fans to continue to support their local record shop in whichever way they can to see us through what is about to become a very challenging time

Thank you as ever for your continued support.

VINYL & VINTAGE will of course remain open and we can assure that increased hygiene measures are being employed. Whilst the staff remain healthy we will continue to be open as normal and any customers who feel concern please feel free to telephone for further information. If you do feel unwell then please follow the government guidelines.

Great news we have `Those Damn Crows` coming to Vinyl & Vintage on February 8th at 4pm for an intimate free meet and greet Album Launch. They will be performing a few acoustic tracks and available to buy on the day Their new album Point of No Return… Available on CD ALBUM / BLACK VINYL LP and EXCLUSIVE INDIE SHOP COLOUR VINYL LP… Buy your items in-store – Meet the band and get them to sign your stuff ! Really great day out as the band will be performing live at kk`s Steel Mill that night. We also have tickets available to buy in-store for the gig that night at only £10 !! So don`t miss out – remember February 8th at 4pm no excuses !!!
