Record Store Day (RSD) at Vinyl and Vintage has again been a great success! This year, rock stalwarts queued from early in the morning outside the new, larger shop, just across the road from the old premises.
On offer was a fabulous collection of new picture discs especially produced for Record Store Day 2018. Those that came early were not disappointed, and if previous years are to go by, the few remaining RSD records will be whizzing out of the door very quickly! Come in this week to see our left over stock.
In the afternoon visitors were treated to a rare acoustic set via up and coming band STONE BROKEN, a seriously cool UK band who are creating quite a name for themselves, both in the UK and Overseas. If you haven’t heard them on Kerrang! Radio or Planet Rock yet, we suggest that you check them out, and then order their latest picture disk from Vinyl and Vintage!
Don’t forget we are an Independent record store that offers the very best quality and value we can and regularly scour the land for great copies at sensible prices for you. Thanks to all our regulars, friends and supporters for making RSD extra special this year, Claire.
Vinyl and Vintage are excited to announce a very special LIVE Acoustic gig by West Midlands Band STONE BROKEN. Starting at 2pm on Record Store Day STONE BROKEN will be in store to perform live! This is a band that is going form strength to strength and are now achieving significant radio air time on Kerrang! Radio and Planet Rock. Their extra special, exclusive picture disc, will be available for purchase on the day as will other releases from the band.

It’s at 5-6 Cleveland Court, Cleveland Street, WV1 3HR. Sarah`s working really hard on the interior and its looking fantastic… We`re still open here at no 5a until the 4th March and then its moving time…. be great to see you prior to the move but if not the official opening day is the 10th March!
Vinyl and Vintage (VNV) are moving to a great new shop in Wolverhampton – directly opposite where they are now!
Face Vinyl and Vintage where they are now and then ‘look directly behind you’ as they say…. that`s where they will be: 5-6 Cleveland Court on Cleveland Street.
Exciting times! They’ve had a tough time with the council and decided to bail before they were pushed as the regeneration in Wolves means there is no security at their current location and its likely to be demolished in the next year or two.
Claire says “5-6 Cleveland Court is a great opportunity for Vinyl and Vintage to design it how they always wanted their Record Shop to look!” Sarah has been hard at work doing all the refurbishment. Its taken the last two months with a fabulous stage also being built.
Vinyl and Vintage official new shop opening day will be Saturday 10th March 2018. Their last day at number 5a will be Saturday 3rd March 2018 and they hope to have the new shop up and running by the 7th March 2018.
THE GRAND OPENING IS ON SATURDAY THE 10 TH MARCH WITH LIVE BANDS AND SIGNINGS!
The Bands and Artists that will be at the Launch will be announced here shortly, so be sure to visit here again soon!
Thanks to all of you who have supported VNV over the last 5 years and we hope you’ll still support us at our new shop.
New Vinyl – We stock new vinyl and can pre-order most titles – please use us as this helps in our allocations of stock on Record Store Day. No hassle in waiting in for records by post – we do all that for you and are very competitive on price.
